Launching
The interesting thing about this photo and why I’m really glad someone took this picture is that it shows my bad launch technique. Notice how I’m throwing with my arm down. Even though I’m thinking in my head, “arm straight, throw level,” I’m actually dropping my shoulder and throwing with the glider not on parallel to the ground. Now that I see what is being described to me I understand where my mental thought process is wrong. I’m keeping my arm straight, but just not parallel to the ground. This will let me adjust my throws so that I keep my arm up hopefully fixing the dropped shoulder.
My Storm
Someone contacted one of the members from the Buzzards and sent these pictures to him. They were then posted in the event thread. I really enjoy seeing that someone else was taken with my glider. In an odd way it makes me feel proud.
